And for someone that is not only educated, but well read Paul still appears to be incapable of having an actual thought without quoting someone else. I love Easter Egg references, but the full on constant quotes were just too much and too often. Although I can appreciate the author trying to assure the reader of Paul’s sci-fi nerdiness, I found the movie and sci-fi culture references more than over the top. The how and the why are probably the best part of the story and it just goes to sh*t after that. So let me begin… Paul is a 60+ year old engineer that happens upon a genie and becomes a wizard. that is kind of the whole point of having this review blog. Making it just short of the half-way mark before throwing the towel in is a big deal for me and I feel I need to speak my mind about my thoughts. It has been a very long time since I have posted a DNF review. After a very strenuous attempt to listen and make it though, I got to about the 1/2 way mark before deciding I just needed to move on. But a completly new Book Wizard 2 will be developed the next year. The Engineer Wizard by Glenn Michaels is the first book in The Genie and the Wizard series. Those who bought the current version will be update for free. This sad, I want to tell you that the books generator is in development! Some problems have been solved, so the current version will be updated with some new tools (probably in January). And I hope that those that criticize have made at least a donation to the foundation in their life. So the Blender Market is only a good thing for Blender community, not bad. This makes Blender grow, also in reputation. Professional users needs professional tools, so the Market contributes to create more professional tools and assets that attract professional users to Blender. Third, usually the free add-ons and assets are not so professional as those sold in the market. Second, the Blender Market, since it started, contributed heavily to the Blender Development raising almost 2000 dollars of contributions, becouse the most part of the product gives a percentage donation to the Blender Foundation. It is paid by those who make donations and by public contributions. Many say that Blender is free, but it isn’t true. Hi, I’m receiving and I see around many critics about the Blender Market and about the fact that assets are sold instead of being shared freely, so I want to say what is my opinion about it. This GIF shows: edit mode - select face - select similar normal - duplicat faces (shift+D) - separate selection § Once placed automatically, some sort of dedicated settings could be added in the wizard tab then, to give control on how we want them placed. These newly created faces will be used for placing/distributing selected books…they will be “filled” with books you provide, basically working like a “bounding box” on where to put books…making it much more automated. These faces are then duplicated and separated from library model.Shift-G to select faces with equal normal (so the other book places get selected very quickly).Enter edit mode and select a face where books will we placed on.I made a quick GIF example here (don’t know absolutely if python api permits this kind of thing), basically: I was wondering, books placement is still highly manual and can be tedious for huge libraries/public libraries…is something about it planned? Hi Lell, nice you’re working on such script!
